Welcome to Woofs & Words. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Woofs & Words website and the purchase of products and services provided by Modern Hybrid LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing this website and purchasing our products or services, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full.
1. Digital Products and Refund Policy
Due to the immediate, easily reproducible nature of digital goods, all sales of digital products—including but not limited to the Woofs & Words Multilevel Dog Communication Guide and any digital video courses—are final. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations for digital downloads or digital video access once the purchase is complete.
2. Virtual Training Sessions and Credit Expiration
When purchasing our Virtual Coaching Sessions, the following terms apply:

Single Sessions: Must be booked and completed within 12 months of the purchase date.

4-Lesson Packages: Upon purchase, you will schedule your first session. The remaining three (3) session credits are automatically added to your account. All session credits within a 4-pack are valid for exactly 12 months from the date of purchase. Any unused credits after 12 months will expire and are non-refundable.

Rescheduling/Cancellations: We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule a virtual Zoom session so we can open the time slot to other students.
3. Dog Behavior, Health, and Liability Disclaimer
Woofs & Words provides educational consulting focused strictly on canine Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and foundational shared language.

Not Behavioral Therapy: Our training is not a substitute for professional behavioral rehabilitation. We do not treat severe anxiety, reactivity, or aggression. If your dog has a history of biting or severe behavioral issues, please consult a certified veterinary behaviorist.

Assumption of Risk: The dog owner assumes all responsibility for their dog's actions, safety, and well-being. Modern Hybrid LLC is not liable for any property damage, personal injury, or injury to the dog that occurs during or after training.

Hardware Safety: Woofs & Words teaches methodology and does not manufacture physical buttons. The owner is solely responsible for monitoring their dog’s interaction with third-party AAC buttons, floor tiles, or hardware to prevent chewing or ingestion hazards.
4. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Woofs & Words—including the 4-level communication framework, written guides, video content, website copy, and methodologies—is the exclusive intellectual property of Modern Hybrid LLC.

When you purchase a guide, video, or coaching session, you are granted a single-user license for personal, non-commercial use with your own pet(s).

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or resell our materials. Professional dog trainers may not use the Woofs & Words framework, materials, or branding to teach their own clients without express written permission from Modern Hybrid LLC.
5. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of California.
